Approach Impacts: Black Hills Drive & Walmart
Effective Tuesday, May 7, 2019, manhole rehabilitation work will impact the approaches to Black Hills Drive and Walmart off of Garfield Avenue. The work will consist of removal of the existing surfacing, demolition/removal of deteriorated manhole cone sections, installation of the fiberglass liner, placement of structural concrete, backfilling and restoration of surfacing.
Impact to Black Hills Drive
Black Hills Drive will remain fully open; both inbound and outbound traffic narrowed approach lanes will be narrowed to accommodate construction activities.
Impact to Walmart
Walmart’s West entrance will remain open to inbound traffic only. All outbound traffic must exit onto Airport Road on the North side of the store.
Both approach impacts are expected to remain in place until May 17th.
