WHAT: The Expedition League will formally announce the launch of its Pierre franchise. The Expedition League is a 10-team summer collegiate wood bat baseball league beginning play in May 2018. Announcements include formal Hyde Stadium lease agreement, introduction of team owners, details of player commitments, name the team contest and more.
WHO: Mayor Steve Harding and City officials, Expedition League President Steve Wagner, Post 8 Legion Baseball Representatives, others TBA. All will be available for questions and comments.
