The outside westbound lane of Wells Avenue, between Adams and Madison Avenues, will close on Monday, Nov. 27. Additionally, Wells intersections at Adams, Jefferson, and Madison Avenues, will be closed.
The closures will remain in place until Mocon Corp., a city contractor, finishes rehabilitating the stretch of sewer along Wells Avenue.
That rehabilitation work is part of a bid approved earlier this year by the Pierre City Commission to reline more than eight blocks of deteriorating underground sewer line.
