The outside westbound lane of Wells Avenue, between Adams and Madison Avenues, will close on Monday, Oct. 30. Additionally, Wells intersections at Adams, Jefferson, and Madison Avenues, will be closed.
The closures are expected to remain in place through Friday, Nov. 3, while a contractor rehabilitates a stretch of sewer line in the area.
That rehabilitation work is part of a bid approved earlier this month by the Pierre City Commission to reline more than eight blocks of deteriorating underground sewer line.
