Elizabeth Street, between Pleasant Dr. and Capitol Ave., will close to through traffic Wed. June 8 for underground utility work.
The City is installing a new water main at that site; weather permitting, the section of street is expected to open with a temporary surface by Tuesday, June 21.
Until then, through traffic should detour around the area. Access for local traffic only will be maintained throughout the construction project.
