Weather permitting, S. Garfield Avenue, between Sully and Pawn Aves., will close Wednesday, May 21, for underground water utility work. Local access will be maintained.
Barring complications, the closure is anticipated to lift before Friday, May 23. Until the street is reopened, traffic should detour around the area.
The City of Pierre maintains more than 100 miles of water main.
