The Criminal Investigations Section utilizes a crime tip recorder and email box where those persons who have information regarding the commission of a crime can call or send an email and leave information. While it is recommended for callers to leave their name and a number where they can be reached for clarification, leaving your name is not required. The Criminal Investigation Section also conducts presentations in the community for local retailers, banks, schools, and civic clubs on crime prevention topics. Anyone wishing to have a class or presentation is urged to contact the Pierre Police Department.
