The City of Pierre, South Dakota is seeking qualification statements from interested engineering
firms for design and bid of Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements. The work is
anticipated to begin as soon as possible, but no later than July 2019.
Qualification statements must be received by 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Submissions
shall be hand delivered or mailed to City of Pierre – Attn: Finance Officer, 2301 Patron Parkway,
Suite #1, Pierre, South Dakota 57501. The submission shall be in a sealed envelope clearly
labeled “RFQ No. 2019-01 Qualification Statement for Professional Engineering Services -
Wastewater Facility Improvements”. No faxed, e-mailed, or electronic submissions will be

Each consultant shall provide a statement regarding each of the following: Consultant shall have registration and good standing with the Board of Technical Professionals, in order to perform work in the State of South Dakota
The City of Pierre will review the proposals and rank the firm based on the following criteria:1. Relevant experience of the firm and its subcontractors (25%)2. Experience of assigned personnel (25%),3. Understanding of project (25%),4. SDDENR SRF funding experience (10%),5. Quality of proposal (10%), and 6. Client references (5%).
