Improvements Coming to Hillsview
Season Passes Available Now
It may not be golf season in Pierre, but the team at Hillsview Golf Course is already gearing up for the 2019 season.
“In the off season, we work to make operational and course improvements,” said Bryan Tipton, Hillsview Golf Superintendent. “We’ll survey our members this winter to better understand any changes they’d like to see at the course and then move forward accordingly.”
Tipton says that a number of improvements are already teed up for this coming spring including new tee markers, improved cart paths, fairway bunker renovations and improvements to the Hole 8 pond.
People who want to get geared up early for 2019 golf season can purchase season passes. They are available now at City Hall or at the Hillsview Pro Shop. Passes can be purchased through an early bank payment plan that allows payment to be spread over six months. And season passes purchased prior to March 1, include a free 18-hole round of golf.
For the holiday season, the Pro Shop is open daily between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. through Saturday, Dec. 22.
Hillsview Golf Course is a 175-acre 18-hole par 72 championship municipal golf course. More than 26,700 rounds of golf were played during this year’s 205 day season.
